The American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance established LONG-TERM CARE AWARENESS MONTH to create opportunities to create heightened awareness of the importance of planning.
The organization consciously left out the word Insurance from the name of this important month.
Our goal continues to be supporting awareness efforts and getting as many non-insurance focused entities involved. Since I established the month in 2001 we are so pleased to see that has indeed happened.
With that in mind, I hope you put the banners to use.
